Markus works as Aktia Bank’s director of sustainability, and his areas of responsibility include managing responsible investing and responsible financing, as well as Aktia’s own corporate responsibility work. Markus has worked, e.g. As CEO of Aktia Fund Management Company and been responsible for Aktia’s international business development. Markus has worked with responsible investing for more than 10 years.
Antti has a global responsibility for sustainability research and analytics at Danske Bank Asset Management. In addition, Antti is heading responsible investments in Danske Bank Finland branch. Antti holds MSc in engineering physics, specialising in systems analysis, and he has more than 15 years of experience from various roles in the financial industry. Antti has been a member of the board since 2022.
Jarrod is Sustainability Director at IONCOR, a Finnish manufacturer of EV batteries. He heads up the sustainability team and is responsible for strategy, integration, and compliance. Prior to IONCOR, Jarrod was leading the Finnish Innovation Fund, Sitra’s work with biodiversity decision-making in private sector business and financial decision-making. Jarrod also has extensive international experience consulting on sustainability topics.
Petra leads Evli’s responsible investing unit in charge of developing responsible investing practices across asset classes. Over the past 10+ years Petra has gathered strong expertise in finance and sustainability. Petra is a strong advocate for responsible investing and active in the Nordic investment community as vice-chairman of the Finnish Venture Capital Association’s ESG-committee.
Annika has led OP Asset Management’s responsible investment function since 2019. In her role as Head of ESG, she is responsible for integrating ESG across all asset classes and drives the strategic direction of responsible investing. Previously, Annika has worked at Accenture, MSCI ESG Research and FactSet. Annika has a board position in St1 Nordic Oy.
Vesa works as the Responsible Investment Development Manager at Varma, where his role is to develop responsible investment processes and practices across all asset classes. Vesa holds a Master’s degree in Finance from the University of Vaasa and has almost 10 years of experience in various roles in the financial sector. In addition, Vesa obtained the CFA qualification in 2019.
Erik Wikström oversees responsible investments and the internal sustainability agenda at Fondita Fund Management Company Ltd. He has previously worked on SFDR implementation at Nordea, after which he developed and implemented ESG assessments as an analyst in credit decision process. Erik holds a double degree, a Master’s degree in economics from Hanken and a Master’s degree in environmental engineering from the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm. In addition, he holds a CESGA certification.
Karoliina is the Head of Responsible Investment at Ilmarinen Mutual Pension Insurance Company, leading a team of sustainability specialists that develops Ilmarinen approaches on responsible investment and corporate sustainability. Her work experience includes broad array of positions related to sustainable development. Prior to Ilmarinen she has worked in development finance, consulting and with the UN.
